Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)

We are looking for a driven Junior Finance Associate to join our Finance team, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable and Management Reporting. We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, eager to learn and motivated to take ownership and continuously improve how things are done.

On the Accounts Payable side, you will support day-to-day invoice and expense processing to ensure accurate recording, timely payments, and a smooth experience for vendors and internal stakeholders. On the Management Reporting side, you will support and further develop the Bank’s key management reports, including revenue and KPI reporting, while also contributing to the budgeting and forecasting process. You will work closely with business owners and the wider Finance team to resolve queries, improve reporting, maintain clean documentation and support compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.

Your AMINA To-Do List

Accounts Payable & Finance Operations:
  • Process supplier invoices and employee expenses accurately and on time in our finance systems.
  • Ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved, and aligned with internal policies.
  • Support payment runs across multiple payment systems and coordinate with relevant internal teams.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, expense, and vendor queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Support AP-related month-end close activities.
Management Reporting & Budgeting:
  • Support the preparation of the Bank’s key management reports, including revenue and KPI reporting.
  • Develop an understanding of how key metrics are calculated, where the underlying data comes from and how it flows into Finance reporting.
  • Support data mapping and validation to help ensure reporting remains accurate, consistent, and reliable.
  • Look at our reports with a curious mindset: understand whether the numbers make sense and help identify gaps or areas that could be improved
  • Work with the Finance team and internal stakeholders to understand what information is useful to them and how our reporting can continue to evolve
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, building an understanding of the Bank’s key revenue streams, cost areas, and business drivers
Ownership & Growth:
  • Bring a proactive, hands-on attitude, take ownership of your work and be comfortable asking questions and learning as you go.
  • Work closely with the wider Finance team and business stakeholders, with plenty of opportunity to build your knowledge and gradually take on broader responsibilities.

Your golden ticket to the AMINA team:

Essential:
  • Basic understanding of accounting or finance principles (through education, self‑study, or practical exposure)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with high volumes of data
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to concentrate for extended periods and take pride in delivering high‑quality, reliable work
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take feedback onboard
  • Comfortable working with systems and technology (prior experience with expense or invoice tools is a plus, but not required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related fields.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in an operational, administrative, or finance‑related role
  • Pursuing advanced qualifications in Finance, especially the CFA Program. Exposure to Accounts Payable, Expense Processing or Budgeting.
