Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)

We are seeking a talented Mobile App Engineer (React Native) to join our growing team. As a Mobile App Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing high-performance, user-friendly, and secure mobile applications for our banking clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to deliver exceptional mobile experiences on iOS, Android, and Web platforms using React Native.

Your AMINA To-Do List

Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms, and extend capabilities for React Native Web deployment.
Ensure applications are optimized for performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across devices and browsers.
Understand and implement design patterns (e.g., MVVM, Redux, Context API) for scalable and maintainable architecture.
Continuously optimize the codebase for speed, scalability, and efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities

Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional and visually appealing mobile and web interfaces.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Work closely with back-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile and web development.
Apply Agile methodologies in development and delivery processes.

Your golden ticket to the AMINA team:

4–8 years of proven experience as a mobile app developer, with strong expertise in React Native.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and familiarity with native modules for iOS and Android.
Experience with React Native Web for cross-platform deployment.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Knowledge of design patterns and scalable architecture principles.
Experience with UI frameworks and styling libraries (e.g., Styled Components, Material UI for React Native).
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design for mobile and web.
Knowledge of security best practices for mobile and web applications (e.g., OWASP).
Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time communication (WebSocket).
Familiarity with modern build tools and processes (e.g., Metro bundler, Fastlane).
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
Experience with Figma and its Design System is an additional advantage.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile and web apps.
Knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox).
Understanding of App Store, Play Store, and web deployment processes.
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for backend integration.
Knowledge of performance monitoring tools (e.g., Firebase Performance, AppDynamics).
